A gentle assessment for owners who want to understand and maintain a fine watch. The movement is examined under magnification, the rate measured, and seals, crown, and crystal reviewed. Cleaning and fresh lubrication are included where suitable. A clear written summary follows, with no obligation to proceed.

Repair & Rate Adjustment
For watches that no longer keep good time, this service restores reliable running. Worn parts are replaced with original or matched components, the balance regulated, and water resistance checked and renewed where needed. The work respects the watch's original feel and value.

Full Restoration & Collector Care

How long does a typical service take?
An Inspection & Care appointment usually takes three to five working days. Repair & Rate Adjustment work generally runs one to three weeks depending on the watch and part availability. Full restorations of vintage or collectible pieces may take longer — we'll give you a realistic estimate before any work begins.
Do I need an appointment to bring my watch in?
We encourage you to contact us first so we can prepare for your visit. You're welcome to walk in during workshop hours, but scheduling a time means you'll have our full attention from the moment you arrive.
What watch brands and types do you work with?
We work with a wide range of Swiss and Japanese mechanical and automatic watches — from everyday fine watches to significant vintage and collectible pieces. If you're unsure whether your watch is a good fit, please get in touch and we can advise before your visit.
Are the listed prices final?
Our service prices are the starting points for each level of care. After an initial assessment, we'll provide a clear written quote before any work proceeds. You are never obliged to continue after the inspection.
Will my watch look different after a restoration?
We take a conservative approach. For collectible and vintage pieces, we favour preservation of original surfaces over aggressive polishing. If any finishing work is proposed, we'll discuss the approach with you first and proceed only with your clear agreement.
Is my watch insured while it is with you?
Watches in our care are held securely and handled with appropriate precautions. If you have specific requirements regarding high-value pieces, please raise this when we discuss your watch so we can address them properly before it comes in.
