2. Acceptance of Terms

By depositing a watch with us, submitting a contact form, or instructing us to carry out any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are acting on behalf of another person or legal entity, you confirm you have authority to do so.

3. Service Description

Bezel Workshop provides specialist watch inspection, repair, and restoration services for mechanical and automatic timepieces. Our current service tiers are:

• Inspection & Care — movement examination, rate measurement, cleaning, and written condition report (from ฿4,100)
• Repair & Rate Adjustment — part replacement, regulation, water resistance renewal (from ฿20,500)
• Full Restoration & Collector Care — complete overhaul, case finishing, documented restoration (from ฿48,500)

We operate from our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Services are available to clients visiting in person and, by prior arrangement, to clients depositing watches by secure courier. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.

4. Your Responsibilities

When engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the watch and its history to the best of your knowledge
• Confirm that you are the owner of the watch or have authorisation from the owner to instruct us
• Collect or arrange collection of the watch within 30 days of being notified that the service is complete
• Not use our website or communications for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Pay any agreed fees within the timeframe stated in the quotation or invoice

You must not deposit with us any watch that is the subject of a theft report, legal dispute, or embargo without disclosing this in writing before deposit.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Bezel Workshop website — including text, photography, design elements, and service descriptions — is owned by or licensed to Bezel Workshop. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any such content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. A limited, non-exclusive licence to view and access our website for personal, non-commercial use is granted by your use of the site.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due upon collection or, for courier returns, prior to despatch. We accept payment in cash (Thai Baht) and by bank transfer to our nominated account. Payment details will be provided on the invoice.

If an Inspection & Care assessment reveals that further work is needed, we will provide a written quotation. No repair or restoration work will begin without your written or confirmed verbal acceptance of that quotation. If you decline the quoted work, the inspection fee remains payable. Parts ordered at your instruction are non-refundable once procured.

Should a watch not be collected within 60 days of completion and no alternative arrangement made in writing, Bezel Workshop reserves the right to apply a storage charge of ฿500 per month after the 30-day grace period.

7. Service Delivery & Timelines

Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith. They may be affected by parts availability, the condition of the watch as revealed during disassembly, or workshop scheduling. We will notify you of any significant delay. Bezel Workshop is not liable for losses arising from service delays where those delays are outside our reasonable control.

Work is carried out only as agreed in the quotation. Any additional scope identified during a service will be communicated and requires your approval before proceeding. We will not perform work on a watch beyond the agreed scope without prior authorisation.

8. Disclaimers

Services are provided on the basis of our professional assessment of each watch. Outcomes depend on the condition of the watch, its age, and the availability of correct components. We do not make specific claims about the outcomes of any service beyond what is stated in the written quotation. Our assessments are professional opinions, not valuations or appraisals for insurance or sale purposes.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects not visible or apparent at the time of intake, provided these are noted in the intake record. Our website is provided for information purposes and we make no representations about its fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Bezel Workshop's liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that service. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of value, loss of use, or economic loss.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Force majeure: we shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations if that failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, supply disruption, or government action.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bezel Workshop, its staff and representatives, from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of these terms; your provision of inaccurate information; your infringement of any third-party right; or your deposit of a watch to which you do not have lawful title or authority.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement at any time before work has begun, with written notice. If work has commenced, you remain responsible for the cost of work carried out to the point of termination and for any parts ordered on your behalf. Upon termination, the watch will be returned to you in its then-current state upon payment of outstanding amounts. Clauses relating to payment, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter informally in the first instance by contacting us at [email protected]. If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any written quotation issued to you, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the relevant service.
• Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in future.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights to a successor in the course of a business transfer.
• Notices: Formal notices to us should be sent to [email protected] or to our workshop address.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be published on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Changes take effect from the date of publication. Your continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
